2nd blog

I am so glad my English class came to an agreement about our argumentative essays. It took two English classes. I guess it could have been worse. Our three argumentative essays are: 1. Pop Culture. 2. Crime and Punishment. 3. Education. I think I'll be alright with Crime and Punishment and Education. My English Professor can't believe that the class agreed on education. There's so much stuff you can write about.

I'm so glad my friend Tanya is in my English class and math class. She said she understands how to write our essays and she will show me how to write. It's nice to have people your own age in college. I believe that their should be colleges. One for kids getting out of high school and the other college for people that are older and wiser. I started a family first and than went to college. Being older you see things a lot different.

On Wednesday my English class finally got a grade. The class got an A. It was a quiz grade and we discussed the questions in class in small groups. The sad thing about going into groups is I never sit with my friends. But we got an A.

Does anybody have suggestions on what to write about Pop Culture? Once I get started on my first argumentative essay I think I'll be okay.  English is not my best subject. Math is my best subject. Who would of thought writing any kind of essays would be difficult. I also want to thank anybody who has commented on my first blog.

1st blog

This is my first time ever blogging. My English Professor wants us to blog once a week about what we discuss in class or what we read about. So here we go. In class we have discuss two stories that we had to read for homework. The two stories we read were called: The Question of Originally by Jane Hirshfield and Writing and the Threshold Life by Jane Hirshfield. The two stories were about how to start writing, be creative and taking the next step on how to be a good writer. In class we also have to write three essay. Our English Professor gave us nine topics to write about and the class has to come in a agreement because we all have to write about the same topic. Let me tell ya it has not been easy. Every time the class gets close to coming into a agreement someone has to say no. Our topics are Education, Gender, Pop Culture, Race/Ethnicity, Religion, Environment, Family, Sexuality and Crime and Punishment. We finally picked one topic out of three. It took almost thirty minutes. The class is only fifty minutes long. The first topic is Crime and Punishment. If anybody has any ideas what to write about Crime and Punishment please comment on this blog and let me know. I was thinking on writing about Casey Anthony and how I think she was guilty. Do you think she was innocent?
